Need a doctor: hoarsness or the loss of somebody voice at age of 60 is a sign need to be checked. need to see ENT specialist, that is EAR,NOSE AND THROAT doctor. they can evaluate her voice box, her vocal cords, and make sure there is no problem there, 'sometime a mass in the neck like thyroid could cause enough pressure to create a voice problem. please see a doctor.
