Needs evaluation: He needs to have a hands-on evaluation ASAP. Without more details in the history, a hands-on physical and possibly some laboratory work it's impossible to diagnose. Given the sudden changes in his symptoms over the past week I strongly encourage him not to delay -get seen today!
