Prevent: The best thing to do is treat any ongoing acne to prevent further scarring. Treatment for existing scar is varied and depends on what the scars look like. Options are dermabraision, laser peels, fillers, sometimes exscision of deep "ice pick" scars. Consult a plastic surgeon for advice.
