Thrush: A sore throat with white spots and sores on your gums sounds like thrush. Blood tests can rule out some but not all STDs. A specific test is necessary to rulr out chlamydia and gonorrhea. The other possibility is a viral infection. You need to discuss these possibilities with the person who you have been seeing to know which is going on in your case. Hope this helps.
