No: Dehydration is the result in failure to ingest the average 2 liters of fluid necessary to allow adequate perfusion of the kidney and filtering the normal amt of serum to produce about 1000 cc/day urine. This occurs when the metastatic process compromises small bowel with partial obstruction minimizing the daily oral intake of fluid and causing dehydration.
