It depends : Whether this is normal or a problem depends on several things including how long ago she had the surgery, whether it was laparoscopic or open, and how heavy she is. This could just be a seroma (a collection of tissue fluid) draining or it can be a sign that the incision is breaking down and going to come open. She needs to bring this to the attention of her surgeon to know for sure. Hope this help
