See your dentist: Have your dentist clinically examine and area and take radiographs of the four wisdom teeth to ascertain a diagnosis. The tooth or teeth may be partially impacted and you are getting food stuck in the area, see the dentist to see if you need to be referred to an oral surgeon.

Go now: May have infection, and you don't want it to ruin your holiday. Please see an Oral Surgeon as soon as possible. Foul smell may be sign of infection.
