See a doctor: the most common causes of dry cough are bronchspasm, acid reflux, and post nasal drip. in your case poorly selective beta blockers like metoprolol and atenolol may cause bronchospasm hence the cough. if you need a beta blocker "bystolic" would be a better choice, however a work up with lung function testing, and an exam of the posterior pharynx and vocal cords and possibly allergy testing.
