Needs evaluation: You should be evaluated by an MD now. The cause of a symptomatic headache has a wide range of causes from menstrual time or stress reaction to aneurysm or space occupying lesion. Common causes at your age are allergy or cold with sinus congestion, migraine, menstrual time, neck tension from stress. As you have had this problem for 2 days you should see MD ASAP to get a diagnosis and treatment.

Many things...: These two symptoms are related to multiple possible problems. For example, it could be a virus, migraine, bacterial infection of some sort( like a sinusitis), medication side effects, brain problems, drugs or alcohol, etc. We would need to know what other symptoms you have associated, medications you are taking, other illnesses you might be suffering of. F/u with your doctor on this.

Persistent Headache: Try treating with simple analgesics such as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). If you have congestion, facial pain try Sudafed. Simple lifestyle modifications to improve headache include increase hydration with water, decrease stress, good sleep hygiene, routine meal schedules, regular exercise, and avoidance of triggers.
