Dear dr. my doctor recommended me gyno- travogen for my fungal infection. right now i am 12 weeks pregnant. i inserted it once and saw blood on the tube after taking it out. is it safe?

Bleeding: When you're pregnant, your cervix is friable (bleeds easily). You likely inserted the cream a bit too far inside. I would notify your OB and just confirm he/she doesn't want you evaluated. I prefer using oral diflucan (fluconazole) or the suppositories because of this common issue.
