Benign cysts...: ...don't require treatment. On CT scan these are usually small, round, fluid density, and stable over time. An ultrasound may help confirm that it is fluid filled and not solid. A small cyst is not likely to interfere with liver function or hepatic digestive functions (such as bile production).
