Need more info: To diagnose PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) one needs to know if menses are irregular and/or infrequent and if there are any signs of male hormone excess (usually hair growth in the beard area and over the lower abdomen. A blood test showing an elevated level of testosterone is also helpful. If you have those signs or symptoms PLUS multiple ovarian cysts then you likely have PCOS.
