Depends on...: Whether or not a skin wound leaves a visible scar depends on many variables, such as: how likely that person typically scars (some people scar easily), where on the body the wound is, how old the person is, whether or not the would gets infected, whether there is bad bruising around the wound, whether or not the wound is staying open (under tension), etc... First aid ointment may help healing.
