Depends on diagnosis: Need a diagnosis to prognosticate hard to tell future on chronic pain in any system of thought results vary, for allopathic medicine i would recommend looking for correctable disease with a pain specialist , symptoms can persist with or without care i often recommend one of the many books by dr john sarno for chronic pain without objective evidence of injuries.
