Depends on diagnosis: Need a diagnosis to prognosticate hard to tell future on chronic pain in any system of thought results vary, for allopathic medicine i would recommend looking for correctable disease with a pain specialist , symptoms can persist with or without care i often recommend one of the many books by dr john sarno for chronic pain without objective evidence of injuries. LBP S/P MVA: You need full exam labs and X-ray. At this stage an MRI will be needed to define the anatomy and determine the cause of pain and treatment options . IE. PT/MEDS/INJECTION/
