Hemorrhoids & you: Hemorrhoids are dilated rectal blood vessels immediately above the anal sphincter that can drop down to the outside and bleed when hard stool is passed.(constipation). Add more fiber and water to your diet, but for now see a MD who can confirm and treat your condition with medication.
