Check with surgeon: Suggest you ask your bariatric surgeon and nurse practitioner (usually on the surgical team) what to do. They are experienced with these type of questions. Your surgeon can consult with your psychiatrist if necessary. Doubt you should mix a pill with food post-op. Swallow with water probably better but ask surgeon that too. Best of luck on your bypass!
