More info: A spontaneous bruise can occur through unnoticed trauma. If it is small, nor painful, single and goes away quickly it is probably not a cause for concern. If it persists, gets larger, painful or other changes it should be evaluated in person. Also f you develop more spontaneous bruising you should be evaluated as soon as possible.
