I have been taking 4-5 10mg norco/day post op for 4 months.how should i taper to decrease withdrawls and will adding a ssri help the process?

Hydrocodone: Tapering from an opiate such as Hydrocodone from 40 to 50 mg daily could be safely and rather smoothly by reducing 10 mg daily every week. I would suggest when is down to 20 mg, to go slowly by tapering 5 mg weekly.
