Spotting: suggest that for some reasons the steady bcp hormone level dropped suddenly in the blood and this cause breakthru bleeding also called spotting. The reasons could be to forget to take the pill, not taking at the same time, diarrhea, vomiting after taking the pill, interaction with antibiotic, std, etc. See your doctor for an evaluation if this happens again.
