Sleeping on arm?: Since it's only in one extremity it's likely that your position during sleep is compressing the veins in your right arm and interfering with the venous return of blood from your arm to your heart. This would increase venous pressure in your capillaries squeezing water from your blood into the soft tissue in your fingers (edema). Sleeping on your elbow is one possible position that could cause this
