Is is possible to say that urine culture w/ mrsa is not true uti if it doesn't fall on mcgeer's criteria?

"McGeer Criteria"...: ...are used to judge who has certain infections (UTI and many others) among patients in long term health care, like nursing homes. If the patient doesn't live in such a place, McGeer criteria don't count. Regardless of McGeer, MRSA is always to be treated seriously and most such patients probably should be treated, but there may be exceptions. Check with the doctor in charge of the pateint's care.
