Seek evaluation: If these symptoms are something for which you have never been evaluated, recommend doing so. There are many treatment options especially if symptoms are impacting day to day functioning. Recommend initial evaluation with a psychiatrist or psychologist if possible - someone with experience in treating anxiety and OCD. If not sure where to get help, seek a referral from your primary care provider.

Eval: Get a psychiatric evaluation for your anxiety and whatever else may be going on, and talk with the psychiatrist about whether or not meds are needed, and your feelings about being medicated. Then get a referral for a reputable psychotherapist to help deal with whatever is ailing you.
