Strep throat?: this would be a good history for strep throat. Many viruses can cause similar syndromes though. He should have a strep test done.

Need Focused Eval: Parent says 10 year old has fever 100- 102 for 4 days, sore throat and abdominal pain. Advil (ibuprofen) & Rx from dr any insight appreciated. 4 days fever 100-102 a little long. Not clear what Rx he is taking. May need a more complete History & physical examination and possible labs to treat to wellness. Best to take child to see M.D. soonest.
