Seizures and school: Sometimes petit mal seizures interfere with learning because they interfere with attention. In such a case there is a good chance that controlling the seizures and side effects of treatment (if any) will allow you to learn better. On the other hand, two distinct conditions could be present, but at least treating the seizures is worthwhile.
