Salmonella: Salmonella reproduces asexually via binary fission. The bacteria reproduce once every 20-40 minutes. The bacteria does not reproduce in temperatures less than or equal to 10°C, but remains in the host on standby. Thus it is still possible to receive an infection from the food. Salmonella can live weeks without a host, it is important to wash your hands and eat well thoroughly cooked foods.
