Not necessarily: Women on oral anticoagulants often experience heavier bleeding and more prolonged bleeding. This needs to be assesed by your physician. If bleeding is excessive you can become anemic or faint. There are a number of options if bleeding is a problem, including Mirena (levonorgestrel) IUD, progesterone tablets and other options. Discuss with your physician.
