Tonsil Swelling: Greetings, the tonsil swelling you are describing could be the early stages of an abscess developing behind the tonsil. The throat and ear pain support this thought. Would recommend taking Tylenol/Motrin, gargle with salt water and see your doctor. This condition may need antibiotics and maybe even a referral to your ENT doctor. Good luck.
