LOC not necessary: The definition since the 1970's has been an injury to the head or brain with an alteration of consciousness. It does not need loss of consciousness, just a brief period of confusion,tiredness, cizziness and ability to focus. If you did not have any of these, you did not have a concussion. Local headache at site of injury has many causes. See your doctor or if necessary a neurologist.
