I'm 24. all test i have taken were negative. i am 2 days late for my period but my cervix high soft and open. why is this?

May be too early: to test. It takes about 2 weeks after pregnancy for the test to be positive. You may take a blood test for HCG, it would be positive if you are pregnant. Or, you may do a hpt and if it is negative, repeat it in a week. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions carefully.
