Absolutely: I've seen many patients who present with maxillary posterior toothaches. Upon examination, there's nothing wrong with their teeth. The pain is usually attributed to sinusitis.

R/O TMJ syndrome: Symptoms of TMJ disorders may include: pain or tenderness of your jaw. Then pain can be felt at the side of the head (the temple), the cheek, the lower jaw, and the teeth. See your dentist to rule out the TMJ syndrome.

Pain max-common: If the diagnosis is sinusitis, pain of the upper teeth is common. Speak to your ENT to make sure that all symptoms are being addressed and that the antibiotic given does not need to be modified.
