Icing: The purple discoloration most likely from allergy. Cold compressors and icing the area helps with allergy and provides vasoconstriction. Please treat your allergy, avoid high salt diet. get plenty of sleep and vasoconstrictor agents like Preparation H may work. Please consult your eye doctor.
