Myoclonic jerks: Sounds like he had myoclonus, which, to me, raises question of whether his dementia is due to prion infection, Jakob-Creutzfeldt? Can also have this happen from other causes, including medication. At this point, discuss the significance and need for therapeutic intervention. Wonder if EEG and spinal fluid might clarify issues.
