Tylenol (acetaminophen): is safe for most women to take during pregnancy. Make sure to increase your fluid intake. Always ask your ob-gyn if you can take Tylenol (acetaminophen) or any other medications.

Narcotics: Believe it or not, probably the safest medication to take for significant pain during pregnancy is a narcotic, preferable one without Tylenol (acetaminophen). Of course, the addictive potential of narcotics has to be taken into consideration as well.
