I had laparoscopic inguinal hernia surgery 10 days ago. i have had daily headaches past 5 days that aren't letting up. is this normal? what causes it?

Related??: I am not so sure these to things are related as the headache didn't even start until 5 days after the surgery and anatomically are not near each other. The only thing I can think of is that you could be tensing your muscles all over your body secondary to pain from the recovery of your surgery including your head muscles, causing a tension headache. I think a talk with your doctor may be warranted

Stress, pain.: it could be from anesthesia, reaction to the medication you are taking, including your pain medication, could be constipation which is popular after this kind of surgery.it could be caffeine withdraw if you are not drinking as much as you use to. list is long see your doctor. hold off on the pain medication and take Excedrin for a change and see if that will make your headache go away.
