Blood in stool: can come from different things. Depending on how much & what it looks like, will help to determine the cause. Bright red blood seen on toilet paper after wiping or small amounts on stool can point to hemorrhoids. Darker looking blood or clots are likely from higher in the intestinal track. Black stools point to bleeding from the stomach. Let your doc know, to find the cause.
