Treat the H.pylori: H.Pylori status is checked with the intention of treating the infection to eradication, when found. If persistent, recurrent, or you are intolerant to a drug, please ask your doctor to prescribe a drug combination different than your initial regimen. Amoxicillin alone is insufficient to achieve clearance. Under-treated h.Pylori may increase your risk of ulceration as well as of stomach cancer.
