Probably normal: Variations in urine odor usually are from intake of food, minerals, medications, and fluids. Sometimes infection, but usually with symptoms like painful or urgent urination. Very rarely, odor can indicate a serious underlying health problem. If you are on any medication, discuss with the doctor who prescribed it. Otherwise, wait a day or two, drink extra fluids, then see doctor if it persists.
