How do i know if my 14mm abdominal aorta is under more pressure than a normal size? i have a hard time understanding how smaller aorta has the same bp

Stretchy: your aorta is stretchy or pliable and is able to expand and contract. This helps to regulate the pressure in the aorta. It is not a solid structure like a pipe and therefore just because it's narrower does not mean it will have increased pressure. Hope this was helpful. Dr. R
