A member asked:

Started cilest pill and straight after period i'm getting ovulation pains. is this normal? had my period last week for 6 days. :)

Not due to cliest: If you started the Cliest on the first day of your period it should be providing you protection but we have learned the the traditional 21 day active/7day placebo pills do not always prevent ovulation even though they do provide contraception. Your pills don't cause ovulation-like pain but they may noy always prevent it. Hope this helps.
