Possibly: We would need much more information, but if you have not previously had kidney problems or elevated creatinine, then yes, resolution is normal after the acute insult is treated (and it takes a little time). You will need follow up after the hospital stay.

Depends: Whether your creatinine level will fall without dialysis depends on what caused it to rise in the first place. If the cause has been corrected and you did not suffer significant permanent kidney damage, it will fall on its own as your kidneys resume normal function. Hope this helps.

Depends: It will depend on what is the underlying cause and if you had some other causes with decreased function.....creatinine level itself not always a good predictor....you may have kidney function decreased to 40%, but have normal creatinin......discuss this with your doctor.....doctor will explain why he/she thought so.....also any alternative to dialysis should you need

Yes possible: There are many causes of elevated creatinine and many are reversible. Keep close follow up with your doctor to make sure it does reverse to normal.

Renal insufficiency: If the creatinine shot up with some temporary and reversible cause like in dehydration it may correct back to normal with hydration itself. So the cause determines the intervention required.
