What could consistently cause high ast & alt levels in a healthy and active person who doesn't drink?

Fatty infiltration: Viral and autoimmune hepatitis always needs to be considered and ruled out. Asymptomatic fatty infiltration can cause ast, alt elevation. That condition is generally not of any clinical significance other than periodic lft should be checked for stability.
