120/80 or less: At rest, your blood pressure should be about 120/80 or lower. If the top number (systolic pressure) is above 140, or the bottom number (diastolic pressure) is above 90, you may have high blood pressure (hypertension). In that case, see your doctor. Hypertension at your age is uncommon.
