Tricky: First, I doubt you can avoid some ear squeeze due to the pressure changes. Having ears cleared .. both literally and figuratively (having them examined to make sure tehre is no inflammation/blockage/infection). Decongestant might be helpful. Clearing the pressure by chewing gum and/or yawning.
