?: I'm not sure what you mean by "feeling low due to his blood pressure". Is he depressed? Is his BP low? Is he despondent because he has high blood pressure? Regardless, if he's impaired from any cause, he should not be driving. YOU can help him decide if it's safe for him to drive.

You should drive: If your father is feeling "low" (not sure what you mean by that) he shouldn't be driving. You can help him by taking over the steering wheel and, if he's feeling VERY LOW, drive him to the nearest appropriate medical facility. Best wishes.

Check orthostatic #: He may benefit from orthostatic blood pressure check which is where the blood pressures are checked in different positions. If his pressures drop in the standing position then, he may be low on fluid for whatever reason or he may be on medication that is OVERblocking him down in terms of his pressures. Solution, give more fluds, or cut back on medication. Wanna talk? www.healthtap.com/drsaghafi
