Ulcer: Exercise should not cause an ulcer (assuming you mean stomach) or make it worse. If you do have an ulcer though, when you exercise you may be more fatigued as you may be anemic form blood loss. Are you taking ibuprofen more muscle soreness after exercise? That can lead to an ulcer.

Tricky: cannot say in your particular case, but generally, this is a sign of reflux not ulcer and proton pump inhibitors make it feel better and likely it will get worse over time. Really HIGH abdominal pressures certainly would seem likely to aggravate it.
