Can i take 2 brands of prenatal vitamins at a time? will it be overdose or not?

One is enough: One prenatal vitamin is adequate, no reason to take two a day. If you mean can you switch brands doing pregnancy or pre conception, yes, that is not a concern.

A 46-year-old member asked:
Can you take prenatal vitamins for no particular reason, or would that overdose you with vitamins?

Not harmful: A prenatal vitamin would not be harmful. However, if you get a good, balanced diet, you would not need it, with one exception; a supplement of 400 micrograms daily of folate (folic acid) (found in multivitamins and prenatal vits) is recommended for women even before they get pregnant to reduce the risk of some birth defects in the babies.
