Most likely: Sleep apnea is a common cause of hypertension. A sudden rise in BP can cause a seizure, to cause further complications. Pl make sure mom gets the help with sleep apnea with new version of CPAP machines that are way less intrusive. Get her BP under control with medicine and frequent medical assessments. Good luck:)
