It depends.: If you did not have vaginal penetration, and only anal (or oral) penetration, then you could get an std that won't show up on a vaginal swab. In that case, get checked. It also depends on how much of each type occurred and for how long. If worried, check all orifices!

Anal STD possible...: ...if you have had anal sex, or if symptoms like anal discharge, mucus on stool,bleeding, or anal itching. If so anal STD testing might make sense. Otherwise, probably no need, but discuss with your doctor. Or consider visiting your nearest sexual health centre. Australia's federally funded SHCs are probably the best STD clinics in the world, with always expert, lifestyle-sensitive care. Good luck
