Pibworm : It is not easy to find the pinworm they come out at night & cause itching in the perianal area, that is why you apply the tape at night hoping they get caught on the tape . You can repeat the test & ask your Dr to send a stool sample for the eggs. Good luck.

Incomplete test: The full tape test requires that it be examined under a microscope to look for the eggs.You occasionally will see the thread like adult worm but it is not the only feature to relly on.
