Sharp removal: Tiny, hard white bumps just under the surface of the skin are called milial cysts. They can stay unchanged for years. The best way to remove them is to have your doctor gently unroof them with a needle tip and squeeze out the cyst. They are superficial enough that local anesthesia is rarely necessary.
